Symantec Discover Two New Malware applications on the Android Market

After the end of 2011 Android is has become a favorite for virus malware attack , this time Symantec found two malware applications to invade the Android Market.

Quoted from Chip Online, Thursday (01.19.12), there are two fake applications that are present in the Android Market. The first named Android.Steek , this application works by presenting false information which the user is directed to download the application full version games for free which is a ploy to attack the user's device. In addition this application also forge some famous games in the Android Market.
And the second is Android.Qicsomos , which this Trojan virus disguised as an application eraser Carrier IQ. The target for smartphone users in France with a scheme to send text messages using premium numbers hidden. This malware makers also seem to have designed this application perfectly so that it can deal with the Android application authorization model in certain situations, even also can be installed on the device without having to go through the display licensing notice to users.
This information indicates that the Malware is more incentive to attack the Android-based devices, so users should be more selective in installing applications from the Android Market.
